Testimonials

The environment is extremely warm and caring for the residents and for family.  Activities, food superior ... Have had family in several facilities locally and none come anywhere near ANRC in care and comfort.  Totally not depressing to visit. This is the cleanest, brightest nursing home I have seen. The core philosophy of the Armenian Home, “respect and care for the elderly in their final years” permeates its day to day operation.  As a nursing home is not a choice for [my relative] it is hard to imagine another where the care would be better… Structure, order, expectations, combined with caring, interest and kindness create a place that serves [my relative] very well.

… We want to thank you and the staff who cared for my uncle for the past year and a half.  The care he received at your facility was exceptional.  Your staff was very personable yet professional and cared for him with excellent skills.  I would highly recommend your facility with the highest standards ….

I have the highest regard and respect for the staff at the Armenian Nursing Home.  They have always been responsive to any concern we have had.  Their respect for the residents, compassion, skills, and commitment to the residents and their responsiveness to the family and friends of the residents has been consistent, sensitive and sincere … The medical care [my relative] has received is outstanding.  He was very sick twice and each time the staff gave him incredible care.  They never gave up on him; they constantly pursued new treatments when the old ones were not working.  The nurses are very involved in his day-to-day care and often suggest new ways to improve his comfort.  The nurse practitioners are always there for him and very generous with their time when I wish to discuss his health problems.  I have the highest praise for this institution and I am thankful that we found such a wonderful place for him to spend his final years.
Extremely warm, positive caring places.   The food is extraordinary … flavorful and enticing.  This [facility] is meant primarily for Armenians but it is comfortable for non-Armenians and non-Christians. I am so happy [my relative] was accepted at the Armenian Nursing Home.  I can’t say enough about the staff that care for [my relative].  They are so caring.  He loves them ... I am told about his daily progress.  I can’t say enough about his care.  This is a very well run nursing home.  The management staff is wonderful.  [My relative] has been in other nursing homes and they don’t compare.  [My relative] would not be alive today if I didn’t have her transferred to ANRC.  My [other relative] was also a resident there and he was very satisfied with the care, etc.  There’s always some form of entertainment and activities to enjoy and pass the time.  Also they serve snacks daily and even offer them to visitors.  I have found the facility spotlessly clean, well equipped [and] the staff has always been helpful and caring.
This is a fine nursing home in all aspects. … I want to thank you all for such thoughtful care you give to my Mom, and extra efforts and enthusiasm you show to all of us.

… Thank you so much for your kindness and caring.  My family and I are very grateful for the love you have shown my mother.

In comparison with other nursing homes I have visited, the Armenian Nursing & Rehab Center stands out.

Dear [Director of Nursing] and your team of healers:

... I need to thank you all for my unshakable conviction that my husband could not have been treated with more kindness anywhere – at least not on this side of the pearly gates - than he was given by the great and loving folks at the Armenian Home.  With appreciation and admiration and gratitude …

My comments on the Armenian Nursing & Rehab. Center have remained the same as several years past.  They are a very dedicated group of professionals in providing quality care for [my relative], from the very top to the C.N.A.’s who truly care for my [relative’s] well being, they are kind and loving.  While [my relative] does not hold conversations and is unable to understand, the C.N.A.s talk to him [and] there is closeness in that facility between the women who work there.  The nursing staff is "exceptional” ...
