ANRC Receives High Quality Ratings
ANRC's quality of care continues to receive high scores from the Massachusetts Department of Public (DPH).
The DPH web site provides a regularly updated Nursing Home Performance Tool that measures all aspects of facility operations including administration, nursing care, residents' rights, food service, and environment of care based on the results of the last three inspections plus the outcomes of any complaint investigations conducted in the same time frame to calculate a score. State inspections are conducted every nine to fifteen months with no advance notice to the nursing home. The DPH Survey Performance Tool currently awards ANRC a rating of 131 out of 132 possible points.
DPH also commissions and publishes biennial nursing home satisfaction surveys. The results of the most recent survey conducted in December, 2009 and published in March, 2010 found that 98% of ANRC residents' families would recommend the facility to a friend.
